MONIKA KAPLAN, PRINCIPAL DESIGNER

Monika Kaplan Design is a full-service interior design studio based in Marin County, CA.  Specializing in high-end residential projects throughout the Wine Country, Lake Tahoe, Marin and San Francisco Bay Area. The design studio carefully weaves together each home’s architectural elements, interior details and natural surroundings to create relaxed and cohesive spaces that reflect a client's lifestyle.

With a strong ethos in sustainability, the design studio often pairs vintage and antique pieces with new custom designs and modern elements resulting in well-balanced spaces that are both elevated and approachable.  We work on a wide range of projects including; new build construction, renovation, historic preservation, furniture and room refreshes.

Born and raised in Marin County, Monika is the daughter of an architect. Her passion for interiors originated from summers spent working at her father's architecture office. Monika lives in Marin County with her husband and three children.
